Mainstream Media Masters the Art of Oppositism

The mainstream media (MSM), which is also the left wing media, has been trying subliminally to spread the false narrative that most people have a negative view of President Donald Trump. They think that if they can report with a straight face that most people, whether in America or abroad, share a common disdain for our president, then most people will be inclined to believe what the media tells them. Smart people recognize this deception and reject it. Unfortunately, too many people are naive and believe the lies they’re spoon fed by the MSM.

This is what we call fake news and another example of oppositism.

The MSM have been successful in putting into people’s minds anything they want. They do this with any crackpot idea they can conjure up. The Russia collusion story, for example, is such a fabrication it’s hard to deny, even if you’re a diehard liberal. Now, with evidence that recently emerged of CNN staff admitting that the story is mostly contrived, their credibility is shot and they’re not to be trusted as a legitimate news source.

To add to their lack of credibility, CNN was recently caught staging a protest in London just after a terrorist attack left several dead and wounded. The pretend protest was comprised of a small group of Muslims holding signs with messages denouncing the terrorist attack. This is a clear violation of journalistic ethics, but what does CNN care about ethics?

Let’s face it, most news organizations use bully tactics. They dictate what the news is. Instead of going to the story and reporting the news, they create it. With the exception of FoxNews, every major news outlet, network or cable, whether it’s CNN, ABC, CBS or NBC, including CNBC and MSNBC, tilts to the left. FoxNews still tilts to the right, but not as much as it used to.

The MSM constantly deceive people and manipulate the news, and consequently how people view the news and current events. They do this by posing as the intelligentsia and purveyors of wisdom, then form a superior/inferior relationship with the public. It’s an indoctrination technique that if started early enough in one’s life is hard to escape. It’s up to us to catch it, see it for what it really is and reject it.

Fake news is not a new phenomenon. It didn’t just start this last election cycle. There has been a steady stream of misreporting on important stories and issues that have major impact in peoples’ lives. Indeed, it’s been a years-long campaign of not just false news, but deception.

Deception in news comes by way of editing and omitting certain facts and contexts. When misreporting occurs in news broadcasts and print media, it’s usually not absent of malice. The intention is to harm and do damage to the reputation of someone or something. But when a guilty news organization is called out and forced to submit a retraction or announce a misreport, what are the chances that the same people who heard the misreport will hear or read the retraction?

The reason the reporting today is so dismal is because the MSM is part of “The Resistance.” Sore losers the left are, they won’t let up on trying to disrupt the new Trump administration by constantly haranguing him. Leftist reporters refuse to accurately tell the public what’s really going on and Hollywood, academia and mainstream media refuse to accept that Trump is president, and a better one than Obama.

But Trump doesn’t care. He’ll continue to fire back and utterly lambaste the media when they’re biased, unfair and dishonest, which is most of the time.
