Real Progress Being Made in Trump’s First Days

Happy days are here again. President Donald Trump has begun his term by taking action – he has begun the process of reversing former President Barack Hussein Obama’s leftist agenda. It is so refreshing to see a new United States president keep the promises he made during his campaign.

Among the many things he’s done is start the process of eliminating funds going to international organizations that perform abortions. This is a giant step. The next logical step on this front is to defund Planned Parenthood (PP) altogether. Currently our Congress authorizes $500 million, taxpayer dollars, to go toward butchering unborn babies, ending their precious lives. Audaciously, as seen in hidden camera footage, PP takes baby parts from the murders they perform and sells them to research centers.

Another major advancement in Trump’s agenda toward improving the economy is the plan to renegotiate the Keystone and Dakota pipelines, which would create jobs and get more Americans working again. This is obviously to the disdain of many liberals and environmentalists. For far too long, they’ve had their way with obstructing real progress in the economy. They truly are living in a fantasy, trying to create a utopia which is totally devoid of common sense.

Perhaps the one thing that President Trump will get the greatest push back from is repealing and replacing Obamacare, or the improperly named Affordable Care Act. It’s hard to get Democrats to accept that Obamacare isn’t the great healthcare program they touted it to be. How could it have been when they deceptively passed it in the middle of the night and allowed nearly no discussion about it whatsoever, instead crammed it down Americans’ throats? At some point the realization must sink in that it’s neither affordable nor constitutional.

Thankfully the effort to repeal and replace has begun. Most Americans don’t mind a healthcare program that is an option but we shouldn’t be forced to pay for or participate in it and it shouldn’t cost those who don’t wish to purchase healthcare at all. Government has no place in interfering in a person’s medical or healthcare related concerns. Healthcare is best left in the hands of individuals and their medical practitioners. Moreover, the private sector is where it works best.

There is more to be done with reversing the Obama regime’s agenda. A top priority is securing the borders and building a wall to curb the massive trespassing onto American soil. Eliminating the Environmental Protection Agency would be another priority. Allowing parents a choice in their children’s education is another welcome change. All these changes will come with resistance, of course, but they are so necessary in improving our economy and shutting down the tyranny Americans were under the last eight years.

What’s going to happen, though, with the critics and opposite party politicians when Trump makes changes and they turn out to work pretty well, more Americans get out of poverty and things are good? They’re going to have to admit and accept that their agenda was and is inferior.

Obama made comments about voicing his opinion during Trump’s administration should he feel America’s core values are at risk, however, America’s core values were at risk his entire term.
